Laurent Dupont's work originates from a series of cardboard objects, some of which have been folded flat, others unfolded plastically as empty containers and painted over. The objects function both as image carriers for Dupont's painterly process and as templates for the image content, alternating between representation, reproduction, variation and repetition.
