Omari Douglin

Omari Douglin’s work blends figures from life, graffiti, advertisements and the imagination, creating new ones that evolve with new narratives specific to the artist. Beginning with sketches, the artists creates unique avatars in compositions that when transformed into painting, embed specific references and meanings.

A presentation of Douglin’s work opened at the Rubell Museum, Miami, in 2024.

Biography

Omari Douglin (b. 1992, Brooklyn, USA) lives and works in Los Angeles, USA.

Education

He graduated with a MFA from Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson and a BFA from The Cooper Union, New York.
