Works from this artist
David Benedikt Wirth's works raise questions about humanity, society, culture, nature and history. He draws on found images from the Internet and photographs for his motifs. Through his subtle and precise painterly process, he uncovers an idea of reality. Ranging from photorealistic oil painting to ancient cave drawings, David Benedikt Wirth constantly experiments with different painting techniques. As a result, his works share a thematic diversity and strong but also intimate presence.
