Each spring, a maximum of 55 Berlin galleries open exhibitions by emerging and established artists during Gallery Weekend Berlin, welcoming numerous visitors from around the world to the city. Founded in 2005 by a cooperative of Berlin galleries, it has established itself as a highlight of the international art calendar. Gallery Weekend celebrates galleries and artists within this unique format that provides high-calibre exhibitions and an unparalleled experience of Berlin and its gallery spaces.
