Vera Palme
Paintings by Vera Palme trace a thread between figuration and abstraction. Through painterly gestures ranging from short strokes to large constructive lines, they touch the boundaries of material, time and the existence of painting itself. Her works are memory and spirit, practical action and acute events at the same time.
A solo exhibition of Palme's work will take place at Galerie Buchholz (Berlin) in January 2024.

About
Vera Palme was born in Germany in 1983. She now lives and works in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Education
Palme studied at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee (Berlin) and graduated from the Hochschule für Bildende Künste - Städelschule (Frankfurt am Main).
