Jordan Derrien

Jordan Derrien is a London based artist. His practice explores concealment and concealed spaces in relation to painting and domesticity. Within his work, he develops a permeable and reversible relationship between the interior and the exterior, the similar and the identical, the public and the private, pushing his research towards a liminal state.

About

Jordan Derrien was born in Caen, France in 1994. He now lives and works in London, UK.

Education

Derrien studied at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, École Supérieure d’Arts & Médias de Caen/Cherbourg and École cantonale d'art de Lausanne.

Exhibitions

His work has been featured in exhibitions at Les Bains-Douches (Alençon), V.O Curations (London), FRAC Normandie (Caen), Palais des Beaux-arts (Paris), Haus Wien (Vienna), LAXART (Los Angeles), Swimming Pool (Sofia) and Media Naranja (Marseille).
