Hannes Heinrich
In Hannes Heinrich’s work, the process of painting is not only a tool, but also the content. He layers grids of colour spaces and gestures with light and shadow, in order to let the painting construct its idea and subject. Hannes Heinrich’s works seem to be wormholes into a friendly cartoon world, in which questions about truth or reality are no longer irrelevant.
